Since May 7, 2026, unusual traces have been appearing across the regions of Rapperswil, Lachen, Gommiswald, and Kaltbrunn: yellow balloons in unexpected places, pens left behind as if by chance—yet all of it seems part of something bigger.
What may look like a small mystery is actually a special initiative by the Immersive Learning Space. The students of this private school designed and implemented this treasure hunt themselves. The idea behind it is simple: learning shouldn’t be limited to the classroom, but should happen in real life—creative, entrepreneurial, and driven by curiosity.
The Immersive Learning Space stands for gifted education, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking. Here, students work on their own projects, develop ideas, and take ownership of their learning. This mindset is exactly what this initiative reflects.
But at its core, this is not about what is hidden. It is about who finds it.
We are looking for the perfect fellow student—someone curious, open-minded, courageous, and ready to explore new paths. Those who discover one of the hidden balloons or pens will not only find a surprise, but also receive an invitation to something special.
The surprise awaits on May 27, 2026, at the Open Day of the Immersive Learning Space. There, participants can experience the school firsthand, meet students and staff, and gain insight into a learning environment that dares to think differently.
