In this exciting competition, LzE learners compete against Switzerland's financial professionals in order to multiply a given starting capital as much as possible within a predefined period of time.
Over the last few weeks and months, the LzE learners have gained insights into the financial markets through mini-internships. They are now launching their own (investable) index in collaboration with a CH/LI asset manager.
The LzE'ers use their own investment strategies to increase their starting capital and compare the results with the common products of Swiss asset management professionals.
Our learners have created their own investment approach and called it “Intuitive Trading”©.
Each contribution is rewarded with a gift from the learners. This can be anything from a homemade thank you card to an exclusively bookable musical performance for your guests (click for further information).
As soon as the starting capital is reached, the competition begins. LzE learners trade the invested capital in the most liquid stock and futures markets. We create a monthly report in which we compare our performance with that of the financial professionals.
Before we can get started, we need your support. In order to be able to offer an index for investment (e.g. as a certificate) we need a starting capital of SFr 1,000,000. We can do this through your investments (i.e. you participate in the success of the trading strategy) or through crowdfunding.
You could also invite friends and family to support the project and make the challenge even more exciting.
In the end, the investors win because they get their invested capital back plus returns. The LzE learners gain because they gain a real insight into the financial world, the LzE gains through a new source of financing for the learning center (private schools do not receive funding) and the financial professionals learn a new investment approach.

The capital in the investable index is invested according to the investment strategy of the LzE learners. The investors in the index are fully entitled to the return from the investment strategy. To manage the investable index, a management fee and a profit-related fee are charged. This will be used to finance the LzE learning location and to enable other exciting projects like this one.
